Session 2021-22

Placement Cell:-

          The final year students of the college participated in online job Fair held on 14-15 Sept, 2021 around 100 student’s participated 07 students cleared 1st round.

-         A grant of Rs. 30,000 was received during the year 2021-22 under placement cell. The grant was utilized to purchase an Almirah along with 12 competitive books for various examinations.

-         An extension lecture on “Career Guidance in science after graduation & Research Prospects in the area of Physics on 8 Feb 2022. Dr. Marikant Yadav Assistant Professor in Physics at YMC Bose University of Technology & Science gave a knowledgeable address.

-         To home computer skills of students an extension lecturer by Mr. Sandeep, Irania at BITS Computer Institute was organized on 9th Feb 2022.

-         An Extension lecture by Ms. Charu Maneja, Educational Coach & Corporate mentor Evolue on “Visual Communication: Poneer dressing & Body Language” Vocal & verbal communication was organized on 11 Feb 2022.

-An Extension lecture by Dr. SIP Singh, retired Associate Professor HES-I, Principal Vision Institute of Applied Studies Fbd. On “ Job opportunities in Physics".

Session 2019-20

Placement Cell Report

 

  1. Placement Cell was established in Govt. College for Girls, Ballabgarh in the session 2019-2020. It is headed by Principal of the college, Mrs. Krishna Sheoran and Dr. Sapna Nagpal is the In-Charge of the Cell. Ms. Ramanpreet, Mr. SourabhTripathi and Ms. Shivani Yadav are active members of Placement Cell. 
  2. The Placement Cell is established with an objective of imparting the knowledge of employment opportunities in various fields and empowering the students for employment. 
  3. The college received a grant of Rs. 40,000/- under Placement Cell from Higher Education Department, Panchkula. Keeping in view the objectives of Placement Cell, Prominent Professors from various colleges and Experts from Industries were invited to deliver lectures and conduct workshops. Lectures and Workshops were conducted on the topics: Communication Skills, Computer Skills, Stress Management, Yoga, Science and Technology and Economics. The students were benefitted with these sessions.
  4. The college intends to participate in Job Fairs with its first batch of final year students as they become eligible to apply in Placement/Job fairs. The Placement Cell is committed to move headlong towards its goal of enlightening the students about placement opportunities in various fields as well as enhancing their skills.
